Thanks for checking out ScorpionSurvival.com! This website was created by us, Chris and Melissa. We're glad to have you here, and we'd like to tell you a little about why we built this business and who we are.

ScorpionSurvival.com owes its existence to Chris's obsessions with outdoor gear and entrepreneurial adventure. Chris has spent large portions of his life camping, skiing, running, biking, and scuba diving. He's trekked the Inca Trail, climbed Mt. Ranier, and just missed the summit of the Grand Teton due to a freak July snowstorm. These experiences involved gear, extreme conditions and survival situations. Chris has seen enough close calls and wilderness rescues to not take his own safety and preparation for granted.

Melissa is an artist and graphic designer. The illustration and design on ScorpionSurvival.com is her work. She's also a supportive wife and mother who knows how to fire a gun, drag herself out of the Grand Canyon and jump out of a plane.
